lunchtime running

I love to run on my lunch. It’s the middle of the day, my prime time for running, i am not a morning person and by the end of the day all i wanna do is EAT; leave work and EAT!

The problem with lunchtime running is if my day is busy i may be unable to run. I get crabby and do not sleep well if i miss my runs and the past two weeks have been so busy i have been unable to fit in many runs. However, today i am taking a 90 lunch and making up for runs. I have not had a run for 4 days so i am going out for a nice and easy but long run.

I did a superb (if i don’t say so myself) job menu planning this week and managed to grab everything i needed from the commissary yesterday for the week. We buy a very FEW and SELECT items from the commissary during the week. The rest we purchase on the economy and 99% of our produce is from the market on Saturday. We do purchase (more than we would both like) meat from the commissary because our butcher is open only when we are working. I also despise wasting food, it makes me ill to think of all the waste we generate while people are starving.
